Victoria, Tex., Jan. 24.-Mrs. Franziska Urban, widow of Joseph Urban, a native of Germany, aged 92 years old, died at her home in this city Saturday.

Mrs. Urban, with a few exceptions, was the oldest person in Victoria County and was also a resident of the county longer than almost anyone else.

Three sons and two daughters survive her: Henry, Windelin and Joseph Urban, all of this city, Mrs. Mary Schutz of San Antonio and Mrs. Bertha Hamilton of San Angelo; also thirty-five grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral took place here this afternoon at 3 o'clock from her residence and was very largely attended. Rev. Karl Weiss, the Lutheran minister, officiated, and the interment was made in the Evergreen Cemetery.
