Elm Mott - Tim L. Urbanek, 72 passes away Wednesday Feb. 12, 2003.

Rosary will be recited at 7pm Friday, February 14, at Bellmead Funeral Home in Bellmead, Texas. Services will be held at 10am Saturday at St. Jospeh Catholic Church in Bellmead. Celebrant will be Father Timothy Vaverek. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West, Texas.

Urbanek was born Dec. 1, 1930 in Taylor, the son of Vince Urbanek and Mary Havelka. He married Mary L. Hyzak October 22, 1955 in Granger. He was an Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict from November 1951 through August 1953.

Urbanek worked for RB Spencer in Taylor and Mount Calm in building material sales. He then worked at Nash Robinson for the next 24 years. He retired from Gross-Yowell Lumber Co. in 1966 after 13 years.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus and SPJST. He also sold SPJST insurance. He was a volunteer at Geneva Hall for more than 32 years and served as president for the past 25 years.

His memory will be cherished by his surviving wife, Mary of Elm Mott; a daughter, Tena Woods and husband Cecil of Edmond, Okla, four grandchildren, Kayla and Timothy Urbanek of Elm Mott, and Coby and Kristin Woods of Edmond; two sisters, Elsie and husband Charles Flink of Taylor, and Margaret(Margie) Urbanek of Taylor.
