Abbott - Vinc (V. J.) Urbanovsky, 91, of Abbott died Monday at a West nursing home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott, the Rev. John Molnar as celebrant. Burial will be at Fatima Cemetery near Abbott. Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott.

Mr. Urbanovsky was born Nov. 24, 1897, in West. He lived in West and Abbott all of his life. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott, Knights of Columbus Council 2305 in West and KJT Society 107 in Abbott. He was a retired farmer. He was married to Amalie Ruzicka Oct. 24, 1921, in West.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Alphons Urbanovsky of Aquilla; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marie) Matula and Mrs. Bernard (Helen) Lenart, both of Abbott, and Mrs. Merl (Evelyn) Freeburn of McCook, Neb.; a brother Monsignor Frank D. Urbanovsky of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Victor (Annie) Hajek of Fort Worth; 21 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

The family has designated Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Building Fund, West Volunteer Ambulance Association or West Rest Haven Chapel Fund for Memorials.

Kotch Funeral Home in West is in charge of arrangement.
