Houston Chronicle 12-6-2002 He was born February 28, 1923 in Ranger, Tx. He served his country in the US Air Force during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. Mr. Ussery retired in 1987 after almost 39 years with the Metro Transit Authority as a Bus Driver. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Olga, his daughters; Lynda K. Hersey and Martha A. Krause; son John A. Ussery; two sisters and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2002 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home 12800 Westheimer Road, where funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Society, 2626 South Loop West, Suite 510, Houston, Tx 77054. Note: Olga's maiden name is Woytek. Her mother Anna and my
