Shiner -- Margaret H. Zacharias, 79, of Shiner, died Saturday, June 2, 2001.

She was born Oct. 15, 1921, in Moulton. She was a homemaker and a member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner.

Survivors: sister, Elizabeth Kalisek of Needville.

Preceded in death by: husband, Harry Fritz Zacharias; parents; and brothers, John L. Berkenhoff and Raymond J. Berkenhoff.

A rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. tonight at Buffington Funeral Home chapel in Shiner. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, the Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Burial will be at Shiner Cemetery.
