Elo W. Zapalac, age 100, passed away in Walnut Creek, California on June 21, 2003.

He was born on a ranch near LaGrange, Texas on February 12, 1903, the seventh sibling. Mr. Zapalac lived most of his adult life in Houston, Texas where he and his wife Lillian made their home for 56 years.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marie and John Jones of Amarillo, Texas; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Diane Zapalac of Walnut Creek; his son, Fr. William E. Zapalac, OMI; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

His wife Lillian died in 1982.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Amarillo and interment will be in Houston.
