Funeral services for Kenneth Wayne Zapalac, 37, of La Grange, are set for Saturday, Feb. 22 [2003] at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in La Grange with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jack Maddux will officiate.

Zapalac died at his home in La Grange.

Born Feb. 13, 1966 in La Grange, he was the son of Sylvester and Evyline (Devorak) Zapalac of La Grange.

Survivors include his mother, Evyline Zapalac of La Grange; four sisters, Janice Kreuger of Columbus, Bobbie Tarter of La Grange, Jo Ann Holcomb and husband Barry of Pearland, and Gloria Drabek and husband John of Sugar Land; and one brother, S. R. Zapalac and wife Jan of Victoria.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Sergeant Memorial Funeral Home of La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
