Dr. H. A. Zappe Shiner - Dr. Herbert Arthur Zappe, 83, of Mineral Wells, a former resident of Shiner, died Saturday morning at a Fort Worth hospital. He was born July 15, 1904.

Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Monday at the Catholic Church in Mineral Wells. The body is expected to arrive at Buffington Funeral Home Monday evening. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner. The Rev. Danny O'Brien will officiate. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery in Shiner.

He is survived by a daughter, Joan Davis a Fort Worth; a brother, William Zappe Jr.of Gonzales; a sister, Bea Zappe of Shiner; and three grandchildren.
