Funeral services for Olga (Sulik) Zbranek, 81, were held May 25 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn with Msgr Stanley Petru officiating. Burial followed at La Grange City Cemetery.

She died May 22 at her residence. She was born Sept 25, 1918 in La Grange, the daughter of John and Mary (Trlicek) Sulik. She married Henry Zbranek on Jan 10, 1939 in Hostyn.

She worked for Royal Crown Cola and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, VFW Auxiliary and Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 daughters, Betty Jean Juereck and Patricia Ann; parents; 2 sisters, Marie Coggins and Edna Sulik.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Zbranek of La Grange; a sister, Vera & Daniel Zitterich of La Grange; brother, Rudolph & Dorothy Sulik of La Grange; 5 grandchildren, Annie Zbranek, Debbie Cantu and husband Matt, and Tina Zbranek, all of Houston, allen Jurecka and wife Lori of Katy, and Kevin Jurecka of Nacogdoches; and 4 great-grandchildren, Paul, Phillip and Luke Jurecka of Katy, and Joey Cantu of Houston.

Funeral handled by Sergeat Memorial Funeral Home of La Grange.
