Victoria Advocate March 18, 2003 He was born Sept. 26, 1946, in Bay City, to the late Emil Aloise and Irene Archer Zernicek. He was an operator for Sea Gull Energy and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bay City. Survivors: wife, Karen Bagby Zernicek; daughters, Irene Davis of Texas City and Amy Montalvo and Amy Wisdom, both of Bay City; son, Anthony Zernicek of Austin; stepmother, Dolores Drozd of Bay City; sisters, Janice Trochta of Bay City and Priscilla Norman of San Antonio; brothers, George Zernicek of El Campo and Steve Zernicek and Mark Zernicek, both of Bay City; and seven grandchildren. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating.
