Funeral services for Rosa Zernicek, 83, of Sealy were held April 18 at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with the Rev Bernard Snock officiating.

She died April 14 in Katy. She was born Oct 31, 1916 in Frydek.

She was raised in Frydek and attended St Mary's Catholic School in Frydek. She worked as a cook in a restaurant until her retirement and was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Regina Zernicek.

Survivors include her cousins, Ann Wilson of Sealy, Frances Huggins of Wharton and Emilie Zapalac of Frydek.

Funeral handled by Knesek Family Funeral Chapels of Sealy.
