Bernice Mary Zientek, 70, of Houston passed away Thursday, August 1, 2002.

She was born November 5, 1931 in Rosenburg, Texas to Adam and Hester Bronikowski. Mrs. Zientek retired from Nabisco after 45 years service. She was a member of the Sons of Hermann Lodge and loved playing bingo. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.

Mrs. Zientek was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Esbar Bronikowski, Johnny Bronikowski, Alvin Bronikowski; and her husband, Eddie Zientek.

She is survived by daughter, Rachell McKinney and husband, Glen; sons: Larry Zientek and Michael Zientek and wife, Marilyn; grandchildren: Wesley Aaron Straker, Christina McKinney, Kayla Marie McKinney, Justin (J.T.) McKinney, Zachary Zientek, Jason Zientek, Brittany Zientek, Tiffany Zientek; sister, Vicki Dressler; brother, Harry Bronikowski and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Friends may call Sunday, August 4, 2002 at Heights Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 5, 2002 at All Saints Catholic Church, 215 E. 10th St. Rite of Committal will follow in Brookside Memorial Park
