"One child of A. J. Johnson and Mattie Johnson nee Tuttle died while
was living at the site of the double log cabin located at what came to
McCarty Spring. This child is buried several hundred yards west
present residence of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Crofts."
According to Mrs. Sandra Crofts Earley, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.
