The 1880 Bosque Co census lists a McGILL family
headed by Samuel McGILL, age 43. His
occupation is listed as "Gin Wright"which
leads me to believe he was involved in the construction
operation of a cotton gin. According
to the info on his children, they lived in Texas and, possibly,
Bosque Co. for several years. Any info
available would be greatly appreciated.

Query: J. P. Grace, Mar. 1828 - Jun 1895, and Mary F. Grace, May
1833 -
Jan 1927, are burials listed in the cemetery index for Oak Grove
Cemetery, Walnut Springs, Bosque County, Texas. Does anyone have
any
info on these folks? Are they the parents of Elizabeth (Betty) H.
Grace
Graham also buried in Oak Grove?
I am trying to locate the area of a community
called Dyersville, I am assuming that it was in
Bosque county but may have been in Hill. My
wild guess is that it was somewhere between
Morgan, Kopperl, Blum to Whitney. I realize
this is a pretty large area and at best is a wild guess.
I would appreciate any information anyone
might have regarding it's location.
