NOTES:
Moses and his family moved to Bosque County after the end of the Civil War.  He entered a land claim about 7 miles west of Meridian, Texas in the Cove Springs area.  His son George entered a land claim adjacent to his.  The Looney-Spencer Cemetery there is named for this family.
