I did some investigation of the James Crawford issue. I didn’t find the DOB 8 Aug 1922 and DOD 5 Apr 1993 for a James Crawford. But there is a James Age 7 in the 1930 Census with Guy and Mamie as parents in Brewster Co. I believe this is the James Lafayette Crawford b 1922 d 1997. But I didn’t find records for him either, other than the census. So I still believe that the first James Crawford is a record error and there was only one, James Lafayette b 1922 and died 1997. MBL
