Juries Disagree
The juries in both the Yardley and Woodward cases failed to agree, which made three hung juries for the present session of District Court.  These three cases occupied two of the three weeks of District Court and they were all here on change of venue from other counties.
Both Yardley and Woodward have each been tried several times in this county and as a consequence Judge Martin has changed them to Llano.  The Gray case has been tried here twice and we presume will come to trial again in Burnet next District Court.

Mrs. Clarrissa Wolf died Monday morning, the 18th.  She was sick a long time but bore her suffering with great fortitude until death came to her relief.  She leaves a large family of children and grandchildren besides many, many friends to mourn her demise.  She was seventy-eight years old and was one of the first settlers of Burnet county.  The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community.
