A telegram came to Col. J. Stevens last Friday evening from Mrs. Alby Watson Stegal, announcing the death the day previous of her father, Lindsey Watson, formerly of Burnet. 

The deceased will be well remembered by a host of friends here as years one of Burnet’s leading merchants and a splendid gentleman in every respect. 

He was the brother of Dr. Jas. S. Watson of Manor, and J. W. Watson of San Marcos, both of whom preceded him to the grave.  Mr. Watson left two children, a son, L____, and a daughter, Mrs. Stegal of St. Louis.  The Bulletin extendes condolence to them in their _____.
