Arturo A. Silvas

Arturo A. Silvas, 47, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19.

A visitation was held Thursday, Nov. 21 at Brook View Funeral Home. A private family services will be held later.

Arturo was born March 16, 1955 in Port Lavaca to the late Arturo O. Silvas and the late Santos Coronado. He was employed by Aramark on Baylor Campus. He also worked with Compassion Ministries and coached Heart of Texas Soccer and Lake Air Little League Baseball. He married Martha Silvas Sept. 30, 1977 in Stillwater, Okla. Arturo was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and sister Rachel Llanes.

Survivors include his wife Martha Silvas and sons Sean, Kyle and Jason; daughter Rachel Marin; three grandchildren, brother Rolando Silvas and sister Margarita Sanchez.

Arturo will be greatly missed by all who loved him and whose lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
