EVANS, SNOW, TABOR, WIER posted by Hugh Delle Broadway on Wednesday, December 25, 1996

I am trying to find out about W.H. SNOW, who is listed in the 1870 census in Indianola. He was 40 years old and born in New York. He was a commercial vessel captain. His children include David, Floyd, Rosa May, Lilley, George, and Sarah. His wife is Eveline. Lilley was my grandmother. I found Eveline SNOW in the 1880 census in Caldwell, TX. W.H. SNOW obviously died between these dates, and I do not know where or when. Do you have any information on these people? Lilley married three times: Albert TABOR, Charlie EVANS, and Peter WIER. Peter WIER and Lilley WIER later settled in Bastrop County.

Would like to find out what newspapers were in circulation during that time frame, in hopes of finding a birth announcement in it regarding my Grandads birth. I would appreciate any help!
