Civil War - Indigent Families of Davis County (later Cass) List   Company Three, Beat 5, Infantry, Titus County (now Morris), Texas   Cass County Civil War Pensioners Index   Cass County is invited to link to the Whitfield / Ross Texass Cavalry Brigade site <http://www.geocities.com/sixtxcavrgrcsa/> to view data both on Companies F & K, of the 9th Texas Cavalry Regiment. Of course some of the material used to build this new site came from many county sites. It is intended this be a free history / genealogy site and will eventually include individual records, company histories, regimental histories and the Texas Brigade to include all battle data that I can collect. These two companies may have had only a few men from Cass or they may have all come from there. If someone is interested and will let me know, I will include that data by their name. Dana's on-line database with her family and other Cass County Collected families.  I can not stress how important it is to check this database for your Cass County relatives.  Most of my personal census & cemetery work goes into this database.  Because some of the names in this database are compiled from these records... a female may be listed under her married name if her maiden name was not known.
