S-K Publications has the 1850 Census Books for sale for Cass County, Texas Please bookmark this site before leaving!
Books are photocopies of the handwritten records, copied from the microfilm (plus there is a typed index in the back of the book). So they make a nice complement to the 1850 Census transcription which you have on-line.

"I have gotten fantastic comments and reviews from several readers which has made me feel that this venture was truly a worthwhile challenge.
My joy in completing this project is the passing along of our heritage to the next generation and hoping that they will pick up the torch and keep our legacy alive." -- Darelene Warren Rothwell

Dana's on-line database with her family and other Cass County Collected families.  I can not stress how important it is to check this database for your Cass County relatives.  Most of my personal census & cemetery work goes into this database.  Because some of the names in this database are compiled from these records... a female may be listed under her married name if her maiden name was not known.
