The
Nueces County Czech Heritage Society endeavors to foster and preserve the
cultural history and tradition of those settlers who came to the area from
the former Czechoslavia- Moravia- Bohemia region of Europe. The Society
office is located in the Jalufka-Govatos
house in Heritage Park at 1513 N. Chapparal

Mr.
Al Prochaska is the usual volunteer attendant and president of the society.
Meetings are held the 1st. Sunday of each quarter, and a Christmas
Past program is presented the first Friday in December in Heritage Park.
