OBITUARY

GOOD
WILLIE CHARLOTTE, 98, passed away Friday, March 10, 1995 at the Forum Retirement Home on Park Lane in Dallas. She was born September 26, 1896 on a farm in the north part of Carrollton to a pioneer family. She was a graduate of the Carrollton High School. Mrs. Good was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carrollton. She served the church for many years as Treasurer, President of The united Methodist Women and various other positions. She taught Sunday School for many years and will be remembered for the numbers of young people who were led faith by her example. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Marian & Jack Blanton of Carrollton, granddaughters & their husbands, Joan & Jay B. Wood of Houston, Mary E. & Bradley Watts of Carrollton; granddaughter-in-law & her husband Georjean Blanton & Michael Renquist of Dallas, great-grandchildren, Chris Symmank of Sacramento California, Sonnet Blanton of Austin, John J. Wood of Alpine, Marion H. Wood of Houston, Amelia Watts of Carrollton, Madeliene Watts of Carrollton; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marion A. Good, her parents, Charles & Emma Jackson, and her grandson, Stephen F. Blanton. Service 10:00 a.m. Monday March 13, 1995, FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH of Carrollton. Reverend Jerry Simmons and Reverend Georjean Blanton officiating. Interment Restland Memorial Park, Dallas. Honorary Pallbearers, her present Sunday School Class and the Joy Club Members. If desired, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Carrollton. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
