M. T. Griffin's Rites Planned

Funeral services for Morris T. Griffin, 92, a resident of Denton County for seventy-seven years, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cemetery Hill near Hebron, Denton County. Burial will be in Cemetery Hill.
Griffin, a Lewisville, Denton County, landowner and businessman, died Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs Fred Holt of Hebron.
Born in Rome, Ga., he came to Texas at the age of fifteen. He had farmed for most of his life.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Lauretta Holt and Mrs. Gladys Crider, both of Hebron; five sons, John A. Griffin and Steve H. Griffin, both of Lewisville, W. T. Griffin and Joe H. Griffin, both of Plano, Collin County, and R. E. Griffin of Frisco, Collin County; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
