My name is Edward Lynn Williams.
I was born at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Farmers Branch,
Texas. I graduated
R. L. Turner High
School in Carrollton, Texas, Class of 1977. I graduated
from North Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business
Degree in 1980. I have been employed by
Electronic Data Systems (EDS)
in Plano, Texas since January 4, 1983. I currently reside in
Farmers Branch, Texas. I
am a past President of the
Peter's Colony
Historical Society, now
serving as 1st Vice-President. I am also a member of the Navarro
County Texas Genealogical Society and Navarro County Texas
Historical Society and the a co-sponsor
of the Navarro
County TXGenWeb Genealogical & Historical Website
as well as sponsor of the Carrollton & Farmers
Branch TXGenWeb Townsite.
On March 4, 2008 I was appointed to the
Farmers Branch
Historical Preservation and Restoration board. I am looking forward to
serving on this board and doing my part to preserve the history and culture of
the community that I grew up in.
