Jesse Kincheloe Davis was born in Kentucky January 11, 1802.  He died at his home in Gonzales, Gonzales County, Texas on December 28, 1869 and was buried in the Gonzales Masonic Cemetery where the State of Texas placed a marker in 1936 in his honor.
