August 14, 1945 the dedication of the windows was held in connection with a Homecoming at the Church Sunday, when many former members and friends returned for the day. A basket lunch was served at the school cafeteria at the noon hour. Reverend S. P. Wright, Pastor, was in charge of the service. Approximately 200 guests registered during the day.
Windows dedicated were for service men: Lt. Lawrence W. Smith, who was killed in the crash of his plane in China; Lt. Wallace Ben Turner killed in the crash of his plane in Italy; and
Pvt. C. C. Hagemeir, missing in action. The two large front memorial windows were for Jeremiah Conrad and Sarah Fisher, Amos and Susan Ann Barber founders of the church. Other windows were dedicated for the following people:
