La Porte is located in Harris County, approximately 25 miles southeast of Houston on the shores of beautiful Galveston Bay. This is a Free Access, Noncommercial web site, a part of the TXGenWeb and USGenWeb Projects, dedicated to family history and genealogy research. Currently this site is under development.
