Coke County won the 1999 Mike Baasham Award by adding the most information to the county website. Coke County was also named the 1999 TXGenWeb "County of the Year" for 1999. Competition was among Erath, Rusk, Limestone, Henderson, Smith, Panola, Van Zandt, and WiIliamson counties.
