- Castellaw Walter COLIQUIT I had thought that this man had died in 1880, but there is a ladie in Lousiana that say her great grandfather had this name and lived in Coleman after this date I am looking to see if possiably this is the man I am looking for It seams unlikely that two people could share this odd name. If could shed some lighe on this it might solve a mistery that I have been working on. Thanks. osbourn@tstar.net

- I would like information on a Gann cemetery that was located at Leaday and was possibly moved because of the Owen Ivy Reservoir. It contained an ice casket that no one knew how it got to this part of the country. We found this information in an Abilene paper several years ago. I am interested because one of the surnames I am researching is GANN. nconner1@airmail.net

- I would like to contact and share info on the HONEA family who came to Coleman County in 1895 and settled on Jim Ned creek east of Goldsboro. Pinkney William HONEA came from South Carolina in the late 1860s with his brother-in law, John ANAKER. Their wives were sisters and were daughters of Job KANADAY. Richard Timothy LAWRENCE married Mary Jane CHAPMAN in south Texas and came to Coleman County around 1890 and settled near Silver Valley. The two families lived in the Silver Valley area until the late 1920s. Two of the Lawrence brothers married two of the Honea sisters.
