Saturday - March 31 - Computer Workshop     A Springboard to Your Ancestors
Location: The Woolf Den Restaurant Computer Room
1901 W. California, Gainesville, Texas

(2 workshops to choose from)

Description: The student will learn how to analyze various censuses from 1850 to 1930 as a bridge for further
research with search engines, Boolean searches, tips on Ancestry.com and focusing on 1850 and before. 
Workshop space is limited to 18 stations; first come, first serve.

Morning Workshop        9:30 am - 1200 pm  "1850 to 1930 censuses"


Afternoon Workshop    1:00 pm - 3:30 pm   "Records prior to 1850"

**Must pre-register        Cost - $20.00 -- per Workshop
Prerequisites:
Basic computer skills are required.  Familiarity with Windows software is
required.  Experience navigating in Ancestry is helpful.

Instructors:
Nancy Bier - Professional genealogist for 32 years, lecturer and author, co-founder of British Isles
                    Family History Society, conducts extensive research in archives and libraries around the world.

Cindy Barnhart - Genealogy researcher for 22 years, certified in Family History Research, and Member
                          Association of Professional Genealogists.

Darlene Denton - Retired teacher, family genealogist for many years, served as Family History Director
                            of Gainesville Ward Family History Center.
