NANCY ELLEN CARLBERG is our featured speaker.  From Los Angeles, she is well known as an author, lecturer, and teacher.  Nancy has been active in genealogy for more than 30 years and has written more than 60 books.

 

Nancy was a researcher for Alex Haley and his work on Roots and Queen.  She brings wonderful details of those experiences as well as techniques of research to her audiences.

 

Her books will be for sale and signing at the Authors’ luncheon and at North Central Texas College on Friday.

 

NANCY LEE BIER is a professional genealogist and the co-founder of British Isles Family History Society-USA as well as founder and director of The Irish Study Group for more than 15 years.  She is an author, lecturer and teacher and takes yearly trips to the British Isles and to Ireland with researchers.  She will talk about Irish slavery and the Irish Diaspora.

Turn left at Lake Kiowa through the community gates.  Give your name to the guard.

Turn left at California Street exit for the College and to the LDS Family History Center.

Highway 377 will bring you to West FM 902 in Collinsville.  Turn west and go immediately over the railroad tracks toward Lake Kiowa or proceed to Gainesville.
