Funeral Held Saturday For Pastor Lamb's Widow

Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon in the Baptist church at Cone for Mrs. H.A. Lamb, 79, widow of the late Rev. H.A. Lamb, Baptist pastor who died at the family home in Cone Thursday night.

Burial was in the Cone Cemetery, with Rev. F.M. Wiley officiating. The Marr Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Rev. and Mrs. Lamb moved to Crosby County from Haskell Co., 28 years ago. He died in 1944.

Survivors include four sons, Joe of Crosbyton, W.E. of Ralls, Velmo of Cone and Alton of Morton; two daughters, Mrs. E.T. Cluck of Munday and Mrs. D.D. Flowers of Cone; one brother, G.F. Dakin of Rule, 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Jack Robertson, Bill Switzer, Morris Wideman Russell and George Noble and Les Tomme.
