Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for former Crosbyton resident Mary E. Allen, 84, of Mesquite will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church Chapel here with the Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allen died at 10:45 a.m. Friday in Mesquite Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Meridian, she married David Allen in Crosbyton. They moved to Mesquite about a year ago from Borger. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church at Borger.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James L. (Jerry) Grant of Balch Springs and Mrs. L. I. (Juanita) Marcum of Canadian; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
