Services for Dee Berry, 97, of Crosbyton were at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Griffin officiating.

Burial was held in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.

He died Friday, April 6, 2001 at Crosbyton Hospital.

He was born Aug. 29, 1903, in Oklahoma.

He married Leona Margaret Criswell on Aug. 12, 1927, in Mangum, Okla. She died Jan. 12, 1989.

He was a member of the Methodist church. He managed the Kalgary Gin from 1958 till retirement. He ws a farmer and a rancher. He moved to the Kalgary area in 1958 from Canyon Valley. He managed cotton gins for over 50 years.

He also was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kyle Solomon.

Survivors include two sons, Mike of Altus, Okla., and Chris of Crosbyton; one daughter, Dee Dee Talbert of Lubbock; one brother, L.C. of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
