CROSBYTON (Special) - Graveside services for Ray Noel Jones, 77, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. David Parramore, pastor of Faith Temple Church in Lubbock, officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Jones died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1996, at his residence.
He was born May 28, 1919, in Crosbyton. He married Emma "Emily" Kuro on June 16, 1974, in Plains. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and he was a member of Faith Temple in Lubbock. He moved to Lubbock from Anchorage, Alaska, in 1973. He was a former resident of Crosbyton.
He was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jimmy Doe of El Paso; six daughters, Bonnie Harkins, Charlene Dendy and Linnie Shreffler, all of Lubbock, Vikki Evans of Huntsville, Ala., Christen Chagnon of Mosca, Calif., and Rebecca Pevey of Allen, Wash.; a brother, Jack L. of Bozeman, Mont.; two sisters, Juanita Davis of Twenty-nine Palms, Calif. and Frankie Walden of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
