CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Rafael H. Pina, 66, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today in Crosbyton First United Methodist Church with Marcos Casanova of Crosbyton and the Rev. Jose Martinez, pastor of Assembly of God Church in Welch, officiating.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Pina died at 1:58 p.m. Sunday in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a brief illness.
He was born in Mexico and moved from Sinton to Crosbyton in 1958. He married Juanita Flores on Feb. 19, 1952, at Sinton. She died on Oct. 10, 1981. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He owned and operated Pina Auto Repair Shop. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include a son, Javier Pina of Austin; four daughters, Naomi Martinez of Alice, Norma Almaraz of Idalou and Nora P. Gonzalez and Nelda Pina, both of Lubbock; a brother, Juan Pina of Plano; four sisters, Jovita Pritchard of El Paso and Aniseto Pina, Oralia Alamaraz and Dominga Gonzalez, all of Juarez, Mexico; and four grandchildren.
