Obituary

  CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Raul Garza Uballe, 38, of Crosbyton will be at 1 p.m. today in San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital from stab wounds suffered Tuesday night at the Association of Cotton Growers. Justice of the Peace Clyde Davis is withholding a ruling in the death pending autopsy results.

Uballe was born in Devine and moved to Crosbyton in 1972. He married Janie Lubono on Jan. 15, 1972, in Ralls. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict. He worked for Associated Cotton Growers and was a member of San Jose Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Raul Marcus of Crosbyton; a daughter, Erma J. of Crosbyton; his mother, Marie Uballe of LaPorte; six brothers, Robert of Lorenzo, Ray of Lubbock, Roger of Beeville, Ruben of Florida, and Richard and Ramiro, both of Littlefield; and three sisters, Teresa Vera and Francis Vera, both of LaPorte and Odelia Flores of Amarillo.
