Services for Lois Avera of Parkway Manor Nursing Home were conducted Wednesday in the Lorenzo Church of Christ with Bro. B.C. Stapleton and Br. Sterling Walker officiating. She died Monday in St. Mary Hospital where she had been hospitalized for several days. Burial was under the direction of Rix Funeral Home of Lubbock.A resident of Lubbock for five years, Miss Avera moved to Lubbock from Lorenzo. She was a member of the Lorenzo Church of Christ.
Survivors include a brother, John Avera of Amarillo and a sister, Mrs. L.M. Laird of Lorenzo.
