LORENZO — Services for Ora Lee Nichols Gestes, 91, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Gestes officiating and the Rev. Dennis Williams assisting.Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
She died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002.
She was born May 24, 1911, in Caddo, Okla. She married W.O. Gestes Sr. on Nov. 23, 1927, in Floydada. He died Oct. 2, 1984. She was a member of Lorenzo First Baptist Church and worked in the nursery there. She moved to Lorenzo in 1945.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Kenneth Harold, on March 5, 1984, Thomas on July 26, 1996, and J.M. on March 10, 2002.
Survivors include three sons, W.O. Jr. of Wayside, and Jack and Johnny, both of Lorenzo; a daughter, Ann Parchman of Arlington; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
