Services for Irene Hailey, 79, of Lorenzo were held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, 1998, in the Lorenzo Church of Christ with the Rev. Joseph Johnston, pastor, officiating.Burial followed in the Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
Mrs. Hailey died Sunday, March 1, 1998, in Aurora, CO, after an illness.
She was born Jan. 9, 1919, in Montague, CO, she married Hugh Hailey on Dec. 20, 1939, in Seymour, TX. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1996. she was a member of the Lorenzo Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Waymon Hailey of Glen Rose, and Deryl Wayne Hailey of Point; a daughter, Charlotte Baker of Aurora, CO; a brother,Charles Eavenson of Bloomfield, NM; three sisters, Inez Cox of Seymour, Joyce Mauldin and Dorothy Jane Eavenson both of Elko, NV; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Lorenzo EMS and the Lorenzo Church of Christ.
