Nora Hamblin

Services were held Wednesday in the W. W. Rix Funeral Chapel, Lubbock, for Mrs. Nora Hamblin, 91, of 1907 28th St., who died at 2:45 a.m. Monday at St. Mary´s Hospital.

Officiating will be Garnie Atkisson, pastor of the Northside Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Lorenzo Cemetery.

An Arkansas native, Mrs. Hamblin moved to the early pioneer community of Estacado in 1908 in a covered wagon. She moved to Lubbock from Lorenzo in 1943.

She is survived by two sons, Noel G. of the home and Harold W.; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Bush of Amarillo, Mrs. Vera Witt of Tahoka and Mrs. Quineta Williams, of 2713 52nd St.; a brother Ray McDaniel of 2212 31st St., and a sister, Mrs. Eula Widman of California.
