A 41 year old Lorenzo man, Harold Wayne Pierot, was claimed by death in Clovis, NM, of an apparent heart attack.

Memorial services were conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Lorenzo First Baptist Church by the Rev. John Jenkins, pastor of First Baptist Church in Lockney and the Rev. Gerald Mounce, pastor.

Pierot was a Lorenzo native and graduated from high school there in 1954. He and the former Yvonne Hosch were married June 12, 1955, at Lorenzo. The deceased was a member of the First Baptist Church at Lorenzo and was a former director of the church choir.

An electronics salesman, Pierot was a 32nd degree Mason, a past worshipful master of Lorenzo Masonic Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite. He also was a member of the Lorenzo Volunteer Ambulance Service.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Roy Wayne Pierot of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Renee Pendergraft of Ralls and Sherry Pierot of the home; his mother, Mrs. Everett Rabun of Lubbock; and a step-sister, Mrs. Betty Fletcher of Goodland, Kansas.
