RALLS (Special) - Services for Alvie W. Adams, 83, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Morrow, pastor, and Bobby Rine of Idalou officiating.

Burial in Ralls Cemetery will be directed by Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Adams died Saturday, Sept. 24, 1994, in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.

He was born on Nov. 19, 1910, in Crosby County and was married to Oleta Bond on March 12, 1938, in Idalou. He was a longtime Ralls resident and a member of First Baptist Church.

He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry of Odessa; a daughter, Carolyn Dewbre of Crosbyton; a brother, Jimmie of Ralls; three sisters, Annie Phipps of Amarillo and Bonnie Howard and Connie Griffith, both of San Antonio; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
