Madison Bean

RALLS (Special) - Services for the Rev. Madison Bean, 62, will be at 4 p.m. today at the Shilo Baptist Church in Ralls with the Rev. O.W. Gentry and the Rev. Bennie Anderson officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of the Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary´s Hospital in Lubbock following a lengthy illness.

The Rev. Bean was pastor at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Ralls and the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Roaring Springs. He had also been employed by the Ralls Independent School District in the maintenance department for 16 years. He came to Ralls in 1936.

Survivors include his wife, Althia; four sons, Benny Madison and Billy Ray, both of Dallas, Willie serving in the Air Force in England, and Danny of Fort Hood; four daughters, Althia Faye Cobbin of Denver, Doris Jean Pinnell of Lubbock, Linda Kay Johnson and Connie Bean, both of Ralls; four brothers, seven sisters; and 20 grandchildren.
