Services for Colleen Y. Benton; 60, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sanders Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with William Eudy, minister of Crosbyton Church of Christ, officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996, at Methodist Hospital.
She was born Oct. 2, 1936, in Amarillo. She married Hal Benton on April 18, 1978. She moved to Lubbock in 1978.
She was a retired accountant.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Bobby Chenoweth of Menard and Kenny Chenoweth of Burleson; two stepsons, Dennis Benton of Austin and Brad Benton of Dumas; two stepdaughters, Debbie Mills of Lubbock and Brenda Lehman of Webster Grove, Mo.; a brother, Buddy Wright of Longview; and five grandchildren.
