RALLS (Special) - Services for James Paul "Sonny" Bishop will be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Ralls with the Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor, and the Rev. John Goss officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died Friday night in Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Bonham and married Jewell Essary on Nov. 6, 1928, in Fannin County. He was a retired farmer and had been a Crosby County resident the past 42 years.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Pauline Fanning of Lubbock and Barbara Flowers of Sudan; a grandson, Jerry Dale Flemmins of Lubbock; two brothers, Frank of Bonham and Dale of Kermit; five sisters, Cora Johnson of Ralls, Hazel Simpson and Alice May Walling, both of Wink, Virginia Spikes of Bangs and Lucille Hardway of Monahans; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
