RALLS (Special) - Services for Vera Reba Crone, 80, of Ralls will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 7:58 p.m. Wednesday in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a brief illness.
She was born in Collinsville. She married William Charlie Crone Dec. 6, 1942, in Ralls. He died Nov. 24, 1981. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church, the Quilting Club and Ralls Senior Citizens. She moved to Ralls in 1921 from Collinsville.
Survivors include a son, Bill of Ralls; a daughter, Mrs. Clinton (Nan) Williams of Lubbock; two brothers, Robert Herring of Dallas and Doyle Herring of Lubbock; two sisters, Elsie Dickson of California and Jean Blitz of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
