Funeral Services held for Joyce Crowley, 80, of Ralls

Joyce CrowleyOur hearts are saddened now that you are not with us, but our hearts rejoice to know you are at peace with your maker, Jesus Christ. You were on a long difficult journey and yet, your spirits were always high. Your kindness and sweetness has touched our hearts. It will be the small joys of life that we experience every day that will remind us of you and will bring smiles to our hearts. Until Jesus gathers us all together we will say "Rest in Peace Dear loved one".

Services for Joyce W. Crowley, 80, of Ralls will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 17, 2007 at the Ralls First Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Cartwright and Pastor Micheal W. Troxell officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Joyce passed away Monday, August 13, 2007 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born December 28, 1926 in Lorenzo to the late Travis W. and Margaret (Mahanna) Cook. On February 28, 1942 she married James O. Crowley in Lorenzo. She was a member of the Lubbock Seventh Day Adventist Church and worked for Ralls Independent School District for 20 years in the Elementary Cafeteria. She had lived in the Ralls area all her life.

She is preceded in death by a sister; Xenna Watkins in 1999.

Survivors include; her husband; James of Ralls, two sons and their wives; James Crowley, Jr. and Judy, and Jeff Crowley and Maria all of Ralls, two daughters and their husbands; Margaret Ann "Susie" Mjolhus and Finn of Porsgrunn, Norway, Rebecca Garvin and Cecil of Apison, TN a sister Marion Tyer of Ft. Worth, and eight grandchildren and one great grandson.

The family would like to express special appreciation to her physicians and the wonderful nurses and staff at the Crosbyton Hospital, UMC and Covington Specialty Clinic.
